Beachy Keen

As a farewell salute to the notable Summer of 2011, my family and I drove down to St. Pete Beach, Florida to celebrate happily ever afters, namely, my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. This weekend I was privy to a number of fashionable inspirations, from the decadent 1920's resort we vacationed at to my style savvy aunts and cousin Gracie and sister to the September Issues I started perusing while lounging by the pool, raspberry smoothie in hand. So here begins the story of my weekend...

My car ride outfit: comfortable without the sacrifice of put-together.
Blouse: One Mind [via Lizard Thicket] \\ Shorts: J. Crew \\ Shoes: Target

The sunset out our hotel room.

The Don Cesar: opened in 1928 and posed "as a playground for America's pampered rich at the height of the Jazz Age."

Love those clouds.

I have this weird obsession with taking photographs of my feet.

Love conquers all: Sally & Dave celebrating 50 years (we passed around the wedding pictures at dinner)

Pa surprised Grammy (and all of us!) with a beautiful diamond bracelet to comemorate the occasion. Awwwwwwwwwwww.

Two style muses of mine: My sister and her appreciation of the denim and the tee shirt
and Grammy with her eclectic nature

The world is at your fingertips.
wearing the unforgettable Lilly dress.
Keeping us all laughing:
My Aunt Sara says some of the most outrageous things. Personal Style comes not only from what you wear, but it also grows roots in your personality. Aunt Sara is vivacious; this aspect of her style makes her unforgettable. I documented a few quotations:

"I never leave the house without earrings and a bracelet."
"I was born to live like this: the sun on my face and a cute boy by my side!"
"Yeah, uh-huh. Ooo, look! Shiny!"
