I think my favorite outfits are those that are thrown together in a bit of a whim. I had grabbed this cashmere sweater because of its comfort, but I wanted to dress it up a little. I threw on a floral tank underneath, rolled up some boyfriend-cut cords to add a bit of fall flair, and topped off the outfit with a chunky heel. Lastly, I needed an easy bag to carry essentials in. (like my sketchpad, notebook, keys, and a few pairs of sunglasses!) I usually keep a bunch of shopping bags hung on my door knob, just to throw stuff in when I need to transport supplies and projects to school, but this Lucky Brand shopping bag caught my eye because it has buckles that remind me of a purse...I decided to just go with my gut instinct, and that was this: grab it, stuff my stuff in it, and tie a scarf around its handle as if it were an actual purse. I really am not sure what came over me, but I was extremely pleased with the end result!
