Picks for Summer: Old Navy Edition

Thursday, May 24, 2012

Yay for gingham and yay for peasant skirts. Old Navy is one of my favorite stores for basics, (Which, if you've kept up with me for this long, you know my wardrobe is built on the basics!) and the summer 2012 season has been no exception. In the south, hot weather is expected, and therefore cool clothes are a necessity. To stay cute and cool, stock up on basics like a gingham shirt, (unbutton and wear as a cover up, knot at the waist, buy a side too big and wear as a dress...) tank tops, (the ones below are racer backs...extra cool and sporty) chambray shorts, (two words: light weight) and peasant skirts. (perfect for a pool or beach setting or for just hanging out at home) Oh yeah, and yay for summer.
