On Monograms and Orientation

{ready for orientation}

If I could, I would probably tattoo my monogram all over my body. OK, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I would definitely monogram anything, from sheets to polos to cardigans to makeup bags to wellies. And as you shall see below, in the case of wellies, my monograming dreams came true. hah.

And as you saw above, I successfully survived orientation (first taste of dorm life...two words: community showers) last week, and the moment I left campus, all I wanted to do was drive back. The summer before college has proved to be a funny time; you're simultaneously trying to relax and take in as much advice as possible. It's a lot to handle. But mostly I'm just excited. Excited to rush, to go to football games, to meet people - new and old friends, to get involved, and to learn, of course! (and possibly to study abroad next summer in Italy?! *fingers crossed*) As much as I'm loving summer, I think I am ready to move on to the next chapter of my story. (The cover of my story is monogrammed, by the way.)
