When Obsessions Turn, Well, Unhealthy...

As my lovely Twitter and Instagram followers undoubtedly already know (sorry-I'm-not-sorry), three of my best friends and myself had the pleasure of attending the One Direction concert in Atlanta yesterday. It's been a full 24 hours since the concert ended, and my ears are STILL ringing. As Niall Horan (known to non-directioners as the blonde one) said last night, "[we tore] the roof off this place."

I believe that all elements of one's life play into one's personal style, including music and film and poetry and art, etc, and while after fashion, music probably comes as my second biggest inspiration. However, what I experienced last night was not merely inspiration. It wasn't even awe at the numbers of fans, or the talent and perseverance of the five members, or the level of noise. (ten times the noise I heard at both Taylor Swift shows I went to, no exaggeration.) Last night was proof that I've completely lost my mind. Now all I want to do is eat, sleep, and breathe 1D. This is no ordinary obsession. This is the life of a fangirl; this is the life of a DIRECTIONER.

Ari made each of us bracelets representing the member of 1D we each like 0.001% more.
In case you didn't know my favorite...his name is Niall. He's Irish.
L-R Me, Ari, Madeline, Mary
One of the members, Zayn, has this tattooed on his forearm. It's a self drawn tattoo! He's so talented.
Oh did I mention he plays guitar? We're soul mates. This is Niall, by the way.
We were so close to the stage. This is during "I Want." PS- look at all those screaming girls!
L-R Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson

PS: Just so you're not in danger of being called a DIRECTIONATOR, (don't ask, just know you don't want to be called one...) It's pronounced "Lou-ie," not "Lew-is."
