When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Limoncello

I never made it to Capri this summer (although I did make it to the beaches of Vico Equense!), but cheers to hoping I'll be back soon... *clink*

Kate Spade New York's Spring collection pulled on my heartstrings, and not just because it's Kate Spade. The collection continued in the tradition of excellent brand management and telling a story about the KSNY girl and what she is doing, where she is going. This particular spring she is taking a Romantic tour of whimsical Europe.

Along the way she stops in Monaco (Grace Kelly's realm....swoon), Paris and Monet's home at Giverny, and of course, Capri. The clothes one wears in Capri include printed cotton dresses and whimsical sweater-shirts to guard against cool sea breezes. And it wouldn't be a Kate Spade collection without an added dose of whimsy: the handbag on the far left reads, "When life gives you lemons...make limoncello." La da dee da dee, don't mind if I do.

DISCLAIMER: Limoncello actually is the grossest thing I've ever consumed. But I'll take that beach bag anyway please and thank you.
