Perfect Tee Myth Debunked

Image from Everlane
Until last month, the perfect tee shirt was an urban legend. The most basic of basics alluded me until recently when I ordered a pair of tees from Everlane. Before Everlane, shirts were either too translucent or too thick, too stretchy or too stiff, too cheap or too expensive. I tried Hanes and Gap and J. Crew to no avail.

Then suddenly, I found Everlane.

Everlane's tees are my perfect fit. They come in a variety of styles and key colors: black, slate, white, heather, navy, and occasionally red or pink or pale blue. They are thin and drapey but not see-through in the slightest. They're ever-so-slightly dolman sleeved and are a tiny bit longer in the back - enough to offer significant rear-end coverage (SO important), but not too long that you feel like you're wearing a tunic. Best of all they are so soft you'll never want to take them off. Oh, and did I mention they range in price from $15-$25?!?! So far, the Cotton Heather U-Neck in grey is my absolute favorite as I have been particularly searching for a great grey tee shirt. The U is super feminine and the heather color goes with everything.

Three Ways To Wear The Grey Cotton Heather U-Neck:

One \\ Jeans + Slip-on Sneakers + Green Military Jacket

Two \\ Black Leather Skirt + Wrap Around Necklace + Leather Booties

Three \\ Cigarette pants + Classic Trench + Red Ballet Slippers

Where have you discovered your perfect tee?
